02Data We Collect
We collect only the data necessary to provide the Maklor platform and communicate with you. This includes:
- Account Data: name, work email address, firm name, and role — collected during walkthrough requests or account creation.
- Usage Data: anonymized interaction data with the Maklor platform to improve operational workflows (e.g. feature usage, error logs).
- Technical Data: IP address, browser type, and device information, processed solely for security and platform stability.
03Purpose and Legal Basis
We process your data exclusively for the following purposes, based on the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP):
- To provide and maintain the Maklor operational infrastructure (contractual necessity).
- To respond to your inquiries and provide customer support (legitimate interest).
- To ensure platform security and prevent abuse (legitimate interest).
04Data Residency & Hosting
Your data is hosted within the European Union, at Tier III+ data centres in Stockholm, Sweden. The EU/EEA is recognised by the Swiss Federal Council as providing an adequate level of data protection under the nFADP, so this hosting is lawful without additional measures. We do not transfer your personal data to jurisdictions outside the EU/EEA (for example, the United States) without an adequacy decision, your explicit consent, or appropriate safeguards as required by the nFADP. As the data controller, Mulklick GmbH (Zug, Switzerland) remains subject to Swiss data-protection law.
05Third-Party Processors
We do not sell your data. We only share data with trusted, nFADP-compliant service providers who act strictly on our behalf — EU-hosted cloud infrastructure, payment processing, and email delivery. All processors are bound by strict Data Processing Agreements (DPAs).
06Your Rights Under nFADP
You have the right to:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention obligations.
- Object to the processing of your data.
To exercise these rights, please contact us at privacy@maklor.ch. We will respond within 30 days.
07Data Retention
We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined above, or as required by Swiss law — for example, commercial and tax retention periods of up to 10 years.
